These are chunky pistols. If I do get a 29 It'll be a spread gun, not carry. We do have open up carry right here in Texas so I could carry it OWB but I doubt which i at any time would a result of the weight. People matters are usually not gentle possibly!

Hmmm. Properly I assume I didn't read through the small print within the packaging. I did my investigate and tested the pistol very extensively. After a couple of thousand rounds my pistols is effective quite effectively.
Without the need of that Unwanted fat slide from the bigger 45's, lighter/lesser pistols of the same caliber might be a little harder to carry on level. The one concern I've at any time experienced is brass to confront, ordinarily with slower rounds and maybe (I'm not sure about this) when my grip gets rather less aggressive. I had Glock examination mine out and they stated it had been at spec. It feels superior from the hand, factors well, and places massive holes precisely in the matters I intention at.

Yep, bought one. Mine is Gen four also. It is a fantastic pistol, correct and just about the minimum amount sizing/body weight for capturing forty five ACP precisely and devoid of an excessive amount recoil for the common shooter. Totally loaded (ten or eleven rounds), it's the heaviest and "thickest" gun I'll routinely EDC, but it isn't that tricky to conceal and is not going to weigh a lot of for the standard-sized gentleman for all-working day have.
